I loved the funny ape he made the movie. It’s an okay movie. Rehashed a lot of what we saw in Dawn. Emotional, but drags along. Kind of wish the story would’ve gone in a different direction. Probably my least favorite of the 3.

Woody Harrelson was exceptional. The overall movie was too slow and too much dialogue. Caesar and Maurice in the final scene was very reminiscent of Moses and Joshua. Caesar was able to buying his people to the promise land, but never lived to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The apes living in the frozen tundra was very unbelievable. I kept thinking they’d surely freeze to death.

Maybe I am overthinking the movie. I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars. I imagine that the next three films will be Cornelius’s story. Him raised as basically a Prince.

Definite shades of Star Wars there. One trilogy about the Father and the second about the Son. Plenty of story to tell about Cornelius that could take place way before the original film. Reeves has not ruled out more films and thinks Ape vs Ape societys would be interesting. There was hints about that in this film.

With Ceaser meeting Bad Ape and wondering if there are other Apes like them in the world. This was a powerful movie and message all in one opened the door to future movies for this franchise I was glued the whole time and on the edge of my seat ceaser finally felt the hurt the kuba felt and sometimes a powerful leader can lose his way loved everything about this movie. Movie was horrendous. The first 2 are so damn cool and I was really excited for this one but It’s a snore fest with more plot holes than Swiss cheese. Here’s a few I remember but I was fading in and out of consciousness to remember more. The little girls father doesn’t have her disease despite he’s been living with her.

Woody pics up her doll and is infected in less that 1. She doesn’t cry when her father is killed but when the Ape crew who just shot him (who she just decides to go with) dies it’s a cry fest. When the big traitor gorilla “escapes” from Winter it’s obvious Winter is a traitor. Then once winter is confronted he goes “he said if i told the general where you were he’d spare me”. Why would HE have to tell the General when the one who “escapes” ALREADY KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE?! The escape scene.

Little stupid comic relief ape pokes his head out of a hole next to a soldiers boot (nighttime ). He looks down into the tunnel to signal Maurice and when he pokes his head back out, its high noon. How did Woodys crew find the herd when they were going in the opposite direction once they attacked the camp? Oh yea “luck” as he put it.

So… their just happen to be holes, under the cell of all the apes, that no one knew about? And the guard who got poop thrown at him…instead of just blasting a few random apes as punishment from the balcony, decides to go into a cage with a few hundred poorly chained apes and close the door. All by himself with the keys.

Oh, and the whole army definitely needed to show up to cheer about vanquishing a few hundred rogue military members, even though that whole mountain was acting as a potential nuclear weapon. After all these idiocracies, I guess humans deserve to die.
